3 easy steps to create content in less than 20 mins
I've been writing online for 10 months.
Never took any break from writing.
But most creators struggle to keep up.
Which makes them give up on their journey.
They lack structure and process of writing content.
Today, I want to help make the process simple.
Here are 3 easy steps I use to create content that attracts my audience in less than 20 mins.
(Use them to simplify your writing)
1. IDEA:
You need an idea to write about.
Don't just stare at a blank page.
Without an idea, it becomes difficult to write.
Ways to quickly get ideas:
- Address your target audience's pain points.
- Draw lessons from your experiences.
- Share insights gained from books or other content.
2. WRITE:
Writing is a creative process.
Write down whatever comes to your mind.
Let your thoughts flow freely.
Don't worry about editing for now.
Editing while writing limits creative energy.
A writing framework to guide you:
- Define the topic.
- Explain why people should pay attention.
- Outline how people can achieve a result.
3. EDIT:
Editing involves removing fluff from your writing.
Less is always more when it comes to writing.
Social media users seek quick information.
Give them what they want.
If your content fails to capture their attention and provide value, you'll lose them.
My Editing Rules:
- Remove adjectives.
- Be relatable.
- Be specific.
- Keep sentences short.
- Keep sentences simple.
- Craft a persuasive hook.
- Read the content out loud.
Following this process makes content creation easier.
But
Practice will only make you get better.
Keep practicing to learn and get better.
