4 Steps To Take control of your life

I used to think my parents would always be there for me:

- Provide for me.

- Give me money.

- Solve all my problems.

But as I grew up, I realized the harsh truth of reality: nobody is coming to save me, not even my best friend.

Why you must take control of your life:

I believe the purpose of life is to explore life.

To explore, you have to expand.

To expand, you have to grow.

To grow, you must face challenges.

We can't hide away from this process.

Life is painful, yes.

But you can choose your pain: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.

Having the ability to choose is what gives you power.

How to take control of your life in 4 steps:

1. Know what you want:

There's noise everywhere, online or offline.

You must know what you want.

Else, you'll be given what you don't want.

What you want falls under this bucket: wealth, health, relationships, happiness.

But you have to answer the questions for yourself.

Sit down in a quiet place and ask yourself:

- Who do I want to become?

- What do I want to achieve in life?

- Who do I look up to?

Simple questions but powerful to give you clarity.

2. Plan:

A goal without a plan is useless.

You need a plan on how to get what you want.

A good way to create a plan:

- Find someone who has what you want.

- Study what they did to achieve the result.

- Read their books, listen to their teachings, imitate them.

3. Action:

Without action, no results.

You have to pay the sacrifice to get what you want, not in the short term, but in long-term action.

Consistency is the mother of compound interest.

Your actions over a long period of time will lead to the life you want.

4. Re-strategize/Reflect:

The world is changing fast, so you must learn how to adapt to it.

Always be ready to make a new plan, change direction in what you want.

That's what makes you unique.

Once a week, repeat this process to gain clarity.

This is all for today, guys.

Enjoy your weekend.
