Leverage the internet to get what you want
I grew up shy and avoided criticism from people.
I tried to please everybody I came across.
This mindset got me into serious messes as I entered the workforce.
If I had continued that way, being average would have been the default.
But luckily for me.
I love learning new things with passion.
Books were my friends.
When I got my first phone at 16, YouTube became my new friend.
I watched successful entrepreneurs and learned from them.
And that's how I started shifting my limiting beliefs.
Some of the YouTube channels that changed me include:
- Jordan Peterson
- Anthony Vacino
- Jordan Welsh
- Patrick David
- Iman Ghazi
- Dan Koe
- Hamza
Many more of them.
Information = Change.
You won't know about your problem until you become aware.
You can't solve a problem you're not aware of.
The only way to become aware of your problem is through information.
You need information to solve your problem.
Can't you see why the creator economy is the future?
Positive information leads to positive behavior change.
Which leads to growth.
How to change your life with the right information:
What do you not want
It's easier to know what you don't want through experience than to know what you want through imagination.
But I would recommend you to use both.
Figure out what you don't want in your present life.
Imagine where you want your life to be.
2. Be open:
Most people are closed-minded.
They're not open to learning or change.
If you want to grow in life, you must be willing to throw away some beliefs and ideologies.
3. Who/Where:
Every successful person had a mentor—someone who has what they want and knows where to find them.
It's very easy to learn from anybody you want.
The internet has made it possible.
You're just a step away from finding the right person.
College degree is no longer a barrier
Location is no longer a barrier.
Money is no longer a barrier.
All you need is the internet.
4. Learn from them:
You can learn from the person directly or indirectly.
You can buy their books, watch their content, buy their program, or you can build a direct relationship with them.
Offer them value in exchange to learn from them.
5. Implement:
This is where most people fall off or give up.
10% is education.
90% is action.
You have to put in the work and pay the sacrifice to get what you want.
Implement every day.
Reflect and track your progress.
This is how you leverage the power of the internet to get what you want.
It's also important to be conscious of what you consume.
It determines how you act and who you become.
I hope you enjoyed this.
Talk to you soon.
