How to write to capture attention

It took me 2 years to make my first dollar online.

I thought it would be easy to cash out.

After watching hundreds of YouTubers showing how much they make a day while they sleep, my mind was blown away.

What I didn't see were the:

- Sleepless nights.

- Hard work.

- Self-doubt.

- Rejection.

- Failures.

But as soon as I started, I realized the harsh truth about entrepreneurship and making money online.

It's hard.

But worth the sacrifice.

Entrepreneurship is the gateway to freedom.

Writing is the key to opening the gate.

I believe everyone should learn writing.

It's the best way to sell your idea.

It's how you impact the world as an entrepreneur.

It's the foundation of the internet.

Writing isn't what school told you.

Writing is the art of persuasion for mutual benefit.

The secret to capturing attention and delivering value is writing.

You can turn your writing into other forms of media.

3 writing principles to capture attention:

1. Use Active Voice:

Want people to read your content?

Keep them hooked with an active voice.

Passive voice makes your writing weak.

Start your writing with a noun, continue with a verb, and end with an objective.

EXAMPLE:

Passive voice: The man was bitten by the dog.

Active voice: The dog bit the man.

2. Specificity:

If you don't tell people what they'll get, people won't read it.

Follow the rule of one:

- One problem.

- One solution.

- One person.

- One topic.

- One idea.

When your content promises something specific and clear, people will be more interested.

3. Simplicity:

Great writing is simple and concise.

People read content that is understandable.

- Cut out fluff.

- Remove adverbs.

- Use simple language.

“Simplicity is the highest sophistication.” — Leonardo da Vinci.

Keep it simple.

Summary:

1. Use active voice to keep your writing engaging.

2. Be specific so people know what to expect.

3. Simplify your writing to make it easy to read.
