How to write your hook

I started on 𝕏 writing whatever I wanted.

But I got 3 likes on my post.

The mistake I made back then was I didn't focus on the hook.

I write and post.

But didn't optimize my hook.

The hook is the first sentence people see when they read your content.

If your hook is bad. People won't be interested in your content.

So, how can you create a hook that captures attention?

Let's find out the secret.

It's important for your hook to have credibility.

You have to give people a reason why they should listen to you.

People want to listen to an authority.

Somebody they can trust.

And if your hook isn't doing that.

People won't care much about what you say.

Before you talk about a topic.

Make sure you have experience or knowledge about it. This will give you authority to write about it.

People don't have an interest in generic topics.

They enjoy reading content that specific.

In your hook, talk about:

Don't talk about everything on your hook.

Your audience cares less when you're not specific.

This is the egg and butter of your hook.

What's the benefit of reading your content?

Tell your audience how the content will help them.

And why they should keep reading.

When people see your content.

The first question that comes to their mind is…

What's in it for me?

Answer this question early.

Nobody wants to read what doesn't benefit them.

Those are the 3 steps that makes your hook persuasive.
